Must possess appropriate professional ASL interpreter certification/credentials, such as RID, NIC, NIC Advanced, NIC Master, CI, CT, CI/CT, CSC, NAD, or another recognized certification as applicable.
Must demonstrate strong and documented knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and the ability to interpret spoken English into sign language and signed communication into spoken English.
Must demonstrate professional conduct, confidentiality, clear communication skills, and competency appropriate for interpretation in a medical environment.

Provide professional on-site ASL interpretation for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing individuals.
Provide video sign-language interpretation when requested.
Interpret spoken English into ASL, Signed English, or Pidgin Signed English as appropriate.
Accurately voice signed communication into spoken English for medical personnel and other authorized individuals.
Maintain complete confidentiality and provide accurate, impartial interpretation without adding, omitting, or changing information.
