Anthropologie Assistant Site Merchandiser

Anthropologie is looking for an Assistant Digital Merchandiser who plays a vital role in bringing our digital brand vision to life. This role focuses on supporting and executing the overarching site strategy, ensuring seamless product representation, accurate merchandising, and an engaging, customer-centric online shopping experience. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, proactive, and passionate about e-commerce, digital strategy, and retail trends.

• Product management & sorting of products across subcategories to support merchandising strategies and optimize conversion.
• Oversee site navigation filter attributes to ensure optimal product discoverability and smooth user journeys.
• Brief new categories and curate/pull assortments for upcoming seasonal launches or marketing campaigns.
• Review Product Detail Pages (PDPs) regularly to identify merchandising opportunities, content gaps, or visual enhancements.
• Assist the Associate Merchandiser in monitoring and optimizing onsite search terms, redirect rules, and zero-result queries.
• Conduct ongoing competitor research and market analysis to surface innovative digital merchandising ideas and trends.

• Prepare featured products for marketing channels for activation; ensure featured items maintain healthy inventory levels prior to deployment.
• Provide detailed notes and product callouts for weekly email and marketing cadence meetings.
• Partner with the digital coordinator to connect with Merchant Assistants (MAs) to gather any missing product copy, samples, or attributes needed for site go-live.
• Create clear click thrus for marketing placements with featured product links. 

• Support the Associate Merchandiser and Merchandiser with ad-hoc reporting, performance tracking, and weekly sitewide or category analysis as needed.

• Work closely with Merchant Assistants (MAs), Web Production, Creative, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment across product launches, site updates, and promotional strategies.

• 1–2 years of experience in retail e-commerce, digital merchandising, or site operations (internship experience accepted).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics).
• Strong eye for product aesthetics aligned with the Anthropologie brand identity.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
