Responsibilities

→A strong testimony of the The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a life that consistently reflects that belief
→Proven ability to inspire and help youth develop greater faith in Jesus Christ
→Confidence in who you are and your ability to impact lives for good
→Previous international experience (beyond a mission)
→Experience working with youth and a strong desire to continue
→Very successful academic and/or professional history
→21 to 35 years of age by May 23, 2027 (the majority of our Trip Leaders are 23+)
→Proven ability to stay composed while handling high-stress situations
→Demonstrated leadership skills
→Clear, discernible capacity to love
→Enthusiastic, organized, and dependable
→Served a full-time mission (recommended, not required)

Attend Sorting Day March 5, 2027 (This is mandatory. If you are within 4 hours driving time from Salt Lake City you are expected to be there in person. If you are further than 4 hours away a Zoom option will be available.)
Attend Trip Leader Training (TLT) May 6-8, 2027 (This is 100% in-person. If you can’t make it to TLT, you won’t be able to be a Trip Leader. Trip Leaders are responsible for their own transportation to and from TLT.)
Able to commit to 45 hours of preparation during the year leading up to your trip
Able to commit to four consecutive weeks of service during Summer 2027
A current temple recommend
CPR and First Aid Certification
If you are currently serving as a missionary, you must be home by February 28, 2027.

There are three rounds to our interview process.

1. Fill out the online application and upload your resume.

2. If you advance, you will be invited to record a couple of videos that will help us get to know you better.

3. If you advance, you will be invited to an in-person interview at our office in Salt Lake City, Utah (Remote interviews will be available for those out of state.)
