Regional Manager - Vida e Caffe (Angola)
Quick Summary
Business Management qualification. Please note: all CVs must be submitted in English, and intervi
You'll lead a region of Vida E Caffe restaurants across Angola. Not from behind a desk, but on the road and in the stores, working side by side with the branch managers who run them. Your job is to make every restaurant in your region better run, more profitable and better for the customer. If you've led multiple QSR stores and you know how to turn numbers into action, this is your next step.
WHAT THE JOB ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE
- Leading your branch managers
- Review their performance monthly and teach them to use their Profit & Loss statement.
- Guide them on the Brand Standard Records and build succession plans across your region.
- Work with HR to keep every branch properly staffed, and build a culture of coaching and recognition.
- Growing profit and sales
- Turn reports and dashboards into action plans that drive sales and control costs.
- Keep labour on track through scheduling and timekeeping, and act on overtime and absenteeism.
- Make sure product quality, equipment and promotions are consistent in every store.
- Keeping customers happy
- Use customer satisfaction reports and Brand Standard Audits to show managers what to fix.
- Keep training plans up to date and service standards high.
- Protecting the business
- Make sure every store meets health, safety, security, cleanliness and cash handling standards.
- Spot legal risks early and keep managers up to date on company policies.
- Run disciplinary hearings, represent the company at labour bodies in Angola, and be first-line employee relations support for your region.
Let's be straight about this one. You'll spend a lot of your time driving between restaurants across Angola, and you'll own the results for every store in your region: profit, labour, sales and customer scores. Some days that means sitting across the table in a disciplinary hearing. If you want a role where the numbers and the people are both yours, keep reading. If you'd rather manage from one place, this isn't it.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
- Fluent Portuguese and English, written and spoken.
- 5 years' experience managing multiple restaurants or branches in the quick service restaurant (QSR) industry.
- A valid driver's licence. This is essential.
- A solid grasp of basic finance, like gross profit growth.
- Sound knowledge of how QSR businesses work, marketing standards and principles, and employment relations.
- Advantage: Business Management qualification.
Please note: all CVs must be submitted in English, and interviews are in English only.
