Husqvarnaconstruction.com is a strategic, customer-facing digital platform for Husqvarna Construction Division. We are now bringing it in-house and are looking for a Tech Lead – Digital Marketing to help build a dedicated product team – combining hands-on engineering, technical leadership and responsible use of AI.
You will join a new product team in the division's marketing department in Jonsered – a Business Owner/Product Manager, Product Owner, Senior Frontend Developer and UX/Service Designer – working closely with external specialists and Husqvarna's IT department in a Product DevOps model.
About the Role
~1 min readAs senior technical authority and lead developer, you set the technical direction while staying hands-on in design, development, code review and releases. You will also build lasting technical ownership in-house, reducing dependencies on suppliers and key individuals.
You will define how AI is used across the software lifecycle – from design and testing to documentation and troubleshooting – with clear guardrails for security, privacy, IP and quality, while accountability stays with the team.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Set technical direction and engineering standards, and contribute hands-on to design, development and code review.
- →Lead engineering practices across frontend, backend, DevOps and QA, including AI-assisted engineering.
- →Own release planning, deployment and incident response.
- →Ensure quality, security, performance and operational readiness.
- →Work with the Product Owner, Solution Architect and IT on technical debt, Sitecore upgrades, integrations, architecture and CI/CD.
- →Coach developers, support recruitment and bring a cost/FinOps perspective to decisions.
You are an experienced engineer or technical lead who combines hands-on work with pragmatic leadership, leading through influence rather than formal authority. You are curious about AI in software engineering, aware of its limitations, and explain trade-offs clearly to any audience.
We believe you bring:
- Senior experience as a software engineer, lead developer or Tech Lead for a customer-facing digital product.
- Strong experience with Sitecore and its .NET-based ecosystem.
- Solid skills in modern web engineering, APIs, integrations, CI/CD, automated testing and secure development, preferably on Microsoft Azure.
- Practical experience with AI-assisted engineering tools and introducing new ways of working.
- Fluent English, written and spoken.
Experience with React, Azure DevOps, GitHub, Jira, FinOps or multi-market platforms is a plus.
