Responsibilities

→Maintain and manage accurate financial records exclusively within XERO.
→Perform comprehensive reconciliation of bank statements and accounts.
→Manage the end-to-end processing of invoices, payments, and employee expenses.
→Prepare clear and concise financial reports for regular leadership review.
→Execute month-end close processes to ensure financial integrity.
→Ensure strict compliance with UK bookkeeping standards and HMRC requirements.

Requirements

Proven hands-on experience managing books within XERO accounting software.
Strong background in UK bookkeeping, including familiarity with HMRC practices and regulations.
Deep understanding of fundamental bookkeeping principles (AR/AP, reconciliations, and ledgers).
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, delivering high-quality work to deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Clear communication skills for reporting directly to the CEO.
