Huzzle is an AI-talent marketplace. We place pre-vetted remote talent (sales, marketing, ops, finance, engineering) with VC-backed startups and fast-growing SMBs. We were ranked the 7th fastest growing company in the UK in 2026. The team is ~40 people across the UK, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
We run the business on internal tools we built ourselves with AI, and the whole team uses them every day.
These tools need an owner. Bugs come in and features get requested. Some of those requests are great and some would break three other things. We need someone who can tell the difference, fix what matters fast, and push back on what doesn't.
This is a product role as much as a building role. The code is the easy part now. What matters is knowing what to build, why it matters to the business, and making it something people actually enjoy using.
This is not a software engineering role. You'll build with AI tools, not write everything from scratch. But you need to understand what's happening under the hood well enough to know when a fix in one place will cause a problem somewhere else.
You'll work directly with our COO and CCO.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own the bug and feature queue for our internal tools. Triage requests, prioritise by business impact, fix it, ship it.
- →Talk to the people using the tools to understand the actual problem before building anything.
- →Think about the user experience end to end. If something is confusing or slow to use, fix that too, even if nobody asked.
- →Fix bugs and ship small features using AI coding tools, and test properly before anything goes live.
- →Spot when a change could break something else, and flag it before it happens.
- →Keep things documented so the next fix is faster than the last one.
- →Over time, take on bigger projects that improve how the business runs.
Requirements
~1 min read- You have a business mind. You care about why something is being built and whether it moves a number, not just whether it works.
- You have product sense. You think about the user first, notice bad experiences, and have opinions on how things should work and feel.
- You've built things. A side project, an internal tool, an app, an automation, anything you can show us. Built with AI tools is fine, that's the point.
- You understand the basics: how a database works, what an API does, how frontend and backend connect, what happens when you change a table someone else depends on.
- You're careful. You test your own work and you don't ship things you don't understand.
- Strong written English. Most of our communication is async on Slack.
- Fast, proactive, high energy. You don't wait to be told what to do next.
- 1-3 years of experience. Background in engineering, product, consulting or a startup is a plus, not a requirement.
- Experience with Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor or Claude Code.
- Worked in a startup or a recruiting/marketplace business before.
