About the Role
~1 min readAs the Head of Precision Diagnostics, you will be a key member of the Ibex biopharma team, responsible for identifying, negotiating, and establishing strategic partnerships with biopharma. This role aims to create significant new revenue opportunities and drive the growth of our AI tools in precision diagnostics.

Strategic Partnerships & Revenue: Drive end-to-end commercial engagements and lead complex negotiations to secure high-value biopharma deals.

Market & Pipeline Analysis: Analyze the biopharma landscape, clinical trials, and drug pipelines to target high-potential oncology assets.

Value Proposition: Articulate robust use cases demonstrating how Ibex's AI accelerates biomarker development, patient stratification, and CDx strategies.

Relationship Building & Influence: Build strong ties with biopharma executives to capture the Voice of Customer (VOC).

Cross-Functional Alignment: Collaborate with R&D, Product, and Clinical teams to translate market needs into product roadmap guidance.

Thought Leadership: Represent Ibex at major industry conferences to elevate company visibility in digital pathology and AI.

Education: Ph.D./advanced degree in Life Sciences or an MBA required; a combination of both scientific and business backgrounds is strongly preferred.

Experience: 10+ years in senior business development with a proven track record closing complex agreements in biopharma, precision medicine, diagnostics, or CDx. Experience in AI/digital pathology is a major plus.

Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the biopharma landscape, regulatory environments, and market trends. Hands-on experience in oncology biomarkers is highly preferred.

Skills: Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills to influence executive-level scientists, clinicians, and commercial leaders.

Travel: Willingness to travel as required to engage with partners and lead industry.
