Responsibilities

Responsible for Electro-Mechanical installations, setup and configuration of machines and subsystems. Support of machine testing and commissioning activities both at I-C Automation's facility and at customers locations.

Coordinating and planning for machine systems breakdown, packaging, and re-assembly at final point of deployment.

Perform Stockkeeper functions such as receiving, labeling of incoming purchased material, packing and shipping parts orders, loading of trucks, and other duties as assigned.

Provides technical support to engineers in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement or product development.

Uses schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment or systems.

Panel build (mounting and wiring)

Print wire tags, terminal board tags, and panel tags, as required

Nameplate engraving preparation

Cable assembly (solder and crimp connectors)

Collect and prepare documentation for drawings, instruction, maintenance, and operator’s manuals.

Serve as the technical interface with internal team for assigned projects.
Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction and customer satisfaction.
Obtains product and system technical information and keeps up-to-date with current and new technologies.

Builds relationships at the technical and professional level with I-C Automation’s customers and vendors.
Technical execution of projects.
Responsible for meeting project schedules, hour budgets and customer satisfaction targets for own activities in support of the project team.
Requirements

Vocational Training and 3+ years experience required; or GED with 5+ years in related field. (but does not require a university degree).
Must be able to perform good mechanical and electrical assembly. Must understand the use of all production equipment.
