Content Quality Reviewer

• Review repair content against a structured scorecard (accuracy, completeness, clarity, helpfulness)
• Flag factual errors, unsupported claims, missing or wrong specs, and guidance that could be unsafe
• Cross-check content against the source user manual and other reference material
• Suggest corrections or rewrites where content falls short
• Log findings consistently so patterns can be fixed upstream
• Hit a steady daily/weekly review volume

• You're a fixer — you've done your own repairs, know your way around a hardware store, and can spot when a step wouldn't work in real life
• An unusually broad understanding of the world of things, from the benefits of brushless motors to the nuances of oil viscosity
• Strong attention to detail — you notice the small stuff
• Ability to sit with a repetitive task and stay focused and consistent over long stretches
• Comfort reading technical documentation (service manuals, troubleshooting flow charts, wiring diagrams, and spec sheets)
• Clear, concise written communication
• Reliable, self-directed, and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision
• Basic proficiency with browser-based tools and spreadsheets

• Experience with QA, proofreading, editing, content moderation, data annotation, or similar review work
• Familiarity with consumer electronics, appliances, and hands-on repair
• Understanding of what makes web content useful (SEO or web publishing background)
• Prior experience evaluating AI-generated content
• Interest in iFixit's mission / right to repair
