Responsibilities

→Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for robotic systems
→Create and maintain 3D CAD models and technical drawings
→Contribute to mechanism design (mobility systems, frames, enclosures, end-effectors)
→Support prototype development, testing, and validation in lab and field conditions
→Perform engineering calculations (stress, fatigue, tolerances, environmental loads)
→Apply DFM/DFA principles to ensure manufacturability and scalability
→Collaborate with electronics, software, and AI teams for system integration
→Participate in field deployments and performance evaluation
→Prepare documentation (BOMs, technical reports, design reviews)
→Continuously improve designs based on testing and operational feedback

Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
1–4 years of experience (or strong project experience) in mechanical design / robotics
Good knowledge in CAD tools (SolidWorks)
Solid understanding of mechanical design fundamentals, materials, and manufacturing processes
Experience with prototyping and hands-on engineering work
Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced R&D environment
Good communication skills in English

Nice to Have

Exposure to FEA / simulations
Familiarity with harsh-environment design (marine, outdoor, thermal constraints)
