Indiana University Health is seeking individuals who embody these values to join our Learning and Development team in the role of Intermediate Learning Systems Consultant. This position is full-time with a hybrid work schedule of 2 days in office a week located in Indianapolis, IN.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience successfully navigating large, highly matrixed, and complex organizational environments.
Strong learning management system (LMS) expertise, with hands-on experience administering, supporting, and optimizing. Oracle Learn or a comparable enterprise LMS platform experience is required.
Experience administering learning for large enterprises, including audience targeting, automated assignment rules, dynamic groups, enrollment management, completion tracking, and troubleshooting learner access issues.
Strong understanding of LMS configuration and operations, including course creation, content management, assignment setup, learning records maintenance, testing, and quality assurance.
Experience participating in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for LMS releases, system enhancements, or enterprise technology updates preferred. Ability to validate functionality, document findings, identify potential issues, and support successful deployment of new capabilities.
Proven ability to support a large user base by resolving learner, leader, and administrator inquiries with a high degree of professionalism, responsiveness, and customer focus.
A proactive, results-oriented mindset with strong critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze challenges, identify root causes, and make informed decisions.
Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear, user-friendly guidance for a wide range of audiences.
The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining high levels of service, quality, and responsiveness in a fast-paced environment.
Candidate Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Informatics, Computer Technology, related field of study, or equivalent years in an IT workgroup is required.
3-5 years of related Administration experience required.
Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems is required.
Proven ability to work with reporting tools is required.
Previous customer service experience is required.
Understanding of HTML5 and editing tools is desired.
Role Responsibilities
Delivers operational support for learning systems within IU Health.
Administers daily operations and maintenance of learning platforms (Learning Management System), including integrations.
Troubleshoots and resolves end user-related system access issues.
Generates custom reports.
Identifies and recommends content management, workflow and user experience improvements.
