Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist

This position will work a hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite at our Integrated Service Center in Plainfield, IN. The position will work Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.

IU Health is looking for a collaborative and forward-thinking Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist to help shape sourcing strategies, support system-wide initiatives, and identify opportunities for greater efficiency. We're especially interested in candidates with strong analytical and project management skills who enjoy working across teams to build innovative solutions and improve how work gets done.

Minimum Candidate Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree is required. Master's Degree is preferred.
• Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, contract management, healthcare operations, or a related field.
• Requires experience supporting sourcing, contract management, supplier management, or operational performance initiatives.
• Requires experience managing and coordinating multiple operational processes, projects, and priorities simultaneously.
• Requires experience analyzing operational data and developing recommendations to support business decisions and process improvement initiatives.
• Requires advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Teams, and Power BI.
• Requires knowledge of contract lifecycle management, supplier management practices, and procurement operations.

• Provides operational leadership and serves as a critical link between organizational leadership, strategic sourcing team members, suppliers, and key business partners to ensure the effective execution of business priorities. 

• Helps facilitate the progression, tracking, and administration of agreements and business processes. 

• Analyzes operational data, monitors performance, and drives process improvements to enhance service, compliance, and user experience. 

• Supports supplier onboarding, compliance, product recall activities, rebate tracking, and contract lifecycle processes. 

• Collaborates across business partners to resolve complex issues, maintain operational continuity, and advance strategic initiatives through effective relationship management, critical-thinking, and data-driven decision-making.
