Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Attend and lead all required class sessions
- →Promptly assess student coursework and submit via the university’s learning management system
- →Coordinate with Division Chair and/or Academic Dean regarding classroom or student issues in a timely manner
- →Provide input into course curriculum, as appropriate
Requirements
~1 min read- Candidates will ideally hold a graduate degree in the field of athletic training, exercise science, physical education and/ or recreation/ sports management
- Substantial professional experience within the content area to be taught may be considered in lieu of a masters’ degree
- Candidates must demonstrate a record of teaching, scholarship, service, and dedication to the ideals of liberal learning
- Articulation of an educational philosophy on the centrality of Jesus Christ with the intention to integrate their faith with learning is imperative
- Candidates will possess skills in effective oral and written communication and pedagogy; creativity and critical-analytical thinking; curriculum design and development; instructional technology; organization and planning; time management; and interpersonal interaction
