Clinical Counselor (Part-Time)

• →Integrate the Christian faith into counseling practices 
• →Provide personal counseling to, and make referrals for, students with personal counseling needs 
• →Maintain files for counselees and adhere to the record-keeping system 
• →Stay current in the literature concerning advances in psychology and counseling practices 
• →Other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Counseling 
• →Active weekly participation in clinical supervision meetings 

• Master’s Degree and Licensure in Counseling or Social Work

• Prior counseling experience with young adults preferred

• Indiana state licensure or working toward Indiana state licensure in LMHC, LMFT or LCSW preferred
• Knowledge of DSM and ICD evaluative procedures and commonly used clinical counseling assessments
• Ability to work in a team-oriented counseling environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with:
  
  • Individuals with diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds
  • Community service professionals
  • Education professionals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
