Clinical Counselor (Part-Time)

Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Integrate the Christian faith into counseling practices
- →Provide personal counseling to, and make referrals for, students with personal counseling needs
- →Maintain files for counselees and adhere to the record-keeping system
- →Stay current in the literature concerning advances in psychology and counseling practices
- →Other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Counseling
- →Active weekly participation in clinical supervision meetings
Requirements
~1 min read- Master’s Degree and Licensure in Counseling or Social Work
- Prior counseling experience with young adults preferred
- Indiana state licensure or working toward Indiana state licensure in LMHC, LMFT or LCSW preferred
- Knowledge of DSM and ICD evaluative procedures and commonly used clinical counseling assessments
- Ability to work in a team-oriented counseling environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills for relating effectively with:
- Individuals with diverse cultural, social, and economic backgrounds
- Community service professionals
- Education professionals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
