Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Instruct students in the use of GIS software for crime mapping and spatiotemporal analysis (ICA-220).
- →Facilitate hands-on practice with spreadsheet, visualization, and network-analysis software (ICA-230).
- →Teach foundational research design and statistical methods for intelligence (ICA-200).
- →Evaluate student ability to mitigate bias in AI-supported analytic outputs.
- →Integrate ethical stewardship and biblical worldview principles into the use of advanced technologies. - (Essential)
Requirements
~1 min read- Education/Professional Credentials/License: Doctorate or Master's level with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in Data Science, Statistics, Geography/GIS, or Intelligence Analysis.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years of experience as a Crime Analyst, Intelligence Analyst, or Data Scientist, with specific proficiency in ArcGIS/QGIS and social network analysis tools.
- Skills: Advanced proficiency in GIS, statistical software (SPSS/R/Excel), and AI-assisted analytic workflows.
- Demonstrated knowledge of online educational delivery tools.
- Demonstrated teaching abilities.
- Demonstrated higher education experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft products.
- Demonstrated knowledge of adult learners
- Demonstrated a commitment to building and cultivating diversity through leadership, teaching and/or service.
