Manager China Sourcing FE Equipment Your role Key responsibilities in your new role Own China sourcing activities and strategy for assigned FE EQ categories including local market intelligence, supplier scouting, opportunity development, local coordination, and implementation follow-through for both mature product and new R&D product.  Collaborate with global category managers on sourcing strategy, commercial negotiations covering tool price, configuration, options, software, installation, acceptance terms, warranty, training, service contracts, spare parts, payment terms, lead time, capacity commitments and total cost of ownership.  Build competitive supplier landscapes and identify localization, dual-source supply opportunities while preserving required technical performance, purity, quality, intellectual-property protection and business continuity. Supplier enablement and development (incl audit, SQM link, Ensure fulfillment of IFX requirements for supplier phase in, ensure sourcing actions support fab qualification)  Supplier relation management  Partner with technical teams to understand critical material specifications, contamination controls, shelf life, storage and handling requirements, certificates of analysis and process-change notification expectations. Drive year-over-year productivity through cost reduction, demand aggregation, specification optimization, value engineering, alternate sourcing, price benchmarking, cost-model analysis and contract optimization. Monitor capacity, allocation, geopolitical exposure, raw-material dependencies, logistics, import/export constraints and single-source risks; establish documented mitigation and recovery plans.  Contribute market intelligence, category expertise and sourcing best practices to cross-site and regional procurement initiatives.  Host competitive events / scouting days Your profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed  Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing, Materials Science or a related discipline.  Typically 5+ years of relevant sourcing, procurement, commodity management, capital equipment purchasing or supplier-management experience in semiconductor, electronics or another high-technology manufacturing environment. Experience sourcing semiconductor FE equipment or complex capitale quipment is strongly preferred.  Good understanding of equipment sourcing processes, quotation/configuration comparison, capital approval, contracting, acceptance milestones, warranty, service and spare-parts commercial models.  Strong commercial and analytical capability, including cost breakdown, total-cost-of-ownership evaluation, benchmarking, negotiation and savings tracking. Good project and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to coordinate Process Engineering, Equipment Engineering, Manufacturing, Finance, Quality, Planning and suppliers.  Proficient business English and Mandarin Chinese, with clear written and verbal communication skills.  Cross-functional influence and stakeholder collaboration  Structured problem solving and data-driven decision making #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
