Project Manager Project Management

Plan, organize, lead, and control the project at Backend Development to successfully achieve all project targets in term of timeliness, quality, and cost. Responsible for tracking and reporting of project status to all stakeholders with timely escalation as required, as well as ensure proper Project closure and handover to operation. Your Role Key responsibilities in your new role * Plans, organizes, and controls the project / sub-projects with minor complexity (up to project classification class D), risk, impact, and reach: * Manages a medium sized project team with members from multi functional groups. * Manages and controls the entire project life-cycle and ensures hand-over to sustaining function. * Organizes the activities and resources needed for the project to ensure timely release of each milestone. * Fully responsible for all operational decisions in the project and for the successful achievement of all project targets (time, quality, cost and budget). * Key communication interface (for project related matters), representing Back End to other Infineon Divisions (e.g. Business lines, Central Functions e.g. Finance, PTI, FE Fabs, and etc.) * Forms and leads the project team and assigns responsibilities within project to Project Managers of sub-projects and Project Members. * Uses IFX project management tools to structure projects, control progress, and for reporting and documentation. * Drives problem-solving activities within the project using standard IFX trouble-shooting methodologies, (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys, and etc.) * Continuously focuses on project quality, assesses progress, and ensures that goals are met even in the face of challenges. * Identifies and manages changes and adapts project approach if necessary. Your Profile Qualifications and skills to help you succeed * Masters / Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Semiconductor Technology, Microelectronics, Automation, Mechanical, Electrical, Physics, etc.) with a Project Management Professional Certification is preferred. * At least 6 years of relevant working experience, with 2 years of experience in leading projects. * Has solid project management knowledge in terms of project initiation, planning, and closing, including reporting and documentation. * Good knowledge in semiconductor engineering and operation. * Good communication skills. * Good aptitude for collaboration, people management, negotiation and solution finding. * Able to lead team to solve standard problem (using 8D, Is-Is Not, FMEA, etc.) #WeAreIn for driving decarbonization and digitalization.
