Valuation • Roll forward valuation models each quarter using standard methodologies — discounted cash flow, trading comparables, and transaction comparables. • Prepare materials for the valuation committee. • Prepare unaudited and audited valuation back-testing across Private Equity and Credit portfolios. • Review relevant market data to support valuation conclusions. • Prepare valuation memos and supporting materials for third-party valuation providers. • Review draft deliverables prepared by third-party valuation providers Requirements Experience: 3-5 years Advanced Excel skills, including comfort building and maintaining complex, formula-driven financial models; familiarity with Power BI and Chronograph is a plus. • Working knowledge of credit and capital structure concepts (leverage multiples, coverage ratios, covenants) and standard valuation methodologies (DCF, trading and transaction comparables). • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize legal and financial documentation into clear investment and valuation conclusions. • Exceptional attention to detail and sound judgment, given the confidential and investor-facing nature of the work. • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce clear write-ups and memos and to collaborate effectively with deal teams, the Valuation group, and Investor Relations. • Ability to manage multiple portfolio companies and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
