What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead detailed analysis of complex title opinions, leases, joint operating agreements, and other land contracts to determine record title and contractual ownership for calculation of interest and distribution of revenues; identify and drive resolution of complex curative issues.
  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for ownership disputes and complex suspense items, partnering with Legal and Land as needed.
  • Create, maintain, and oversee revenue and joint interest billing decks, ensuring accuracy and consistency across the portfolio.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to other division order analysts, reviewing their work for accuracy and completeness.

  • 6+ years of division order experience specific to the Appalachian Basin, including experience handling complex or high-value ownership issues.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or guide less experienced analysts.
  • Ability to work independently, manage competing deadlines, and exercise sound judgment on complex ownership questions with minimal supervision.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills, and able to multi-task and effectively prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extremely team-oriented with strong oral and written skills to convey information clearly and persuasively, including to senior stakeholders and owners.
