Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute activity to drive online sales growth and achieve revenue targets across all active D2C channels, with Amazon and marketplace growth as a key priority.
  • Own and develop the Amazon marketplace strategy, driving revenue growth, profitability and market share.
  • Manage and optimise Amazon product listings, catalogue content, keywords, enhanced brand content and marketplace visibility.
  • Monitor and improve Buy Box performance, conversion rates, product rankings and overall marketplace health.
  • Manage Amazon Advertising campaigns, including Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands and Sponsored Display activity.
  • Support and optimise Amazon FBA operations, ensuring effective stock availability and operational performance.
  • Utilise repricing tools and commercial pricing strategies to maximise competitiveness and profitability.
  • Manage and optimise each D2C platform to enhance user experience, conversion rates, traffic growth and customer retention.
  • Conduct regular analysis of sales data, user traffic and customer behaviour to identify opportunities across marketplaces and web properties.
  • Collaborate with centralised cross-functional teams including marketing, product and IT to ensure alignment and support for e-commerce initiatives.
  • Implement digital marketing campaigns to drive traffic, increase brand visibility and improve sales conversion across multiple channels including email, social and paid media.
  • Oversee inventory management, pricing strategies and product merchandising to maximise sales and profitability.
  • Monitor account health metrics, customer feedback and marketplace performance standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies, tools and best practices to optimise e-commerce operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in e-commerce management with a track record of delivering online sales growth.
  • Demonstrable success driving revenue growth through Amazon marketplace optimisation and trading activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in European e-commerce markets is advantageous.
  • Hands-on Amazon marketplace management experience is essential, including:
    • Amazon Seller Central
    • Listing and catalogue optimisation
    • Buy Box management
    • Amazon Advertising (PPC)
    • Marketplace trading and growth strategies
    • Inventory planning and forecasting
    • Account health management
  • Experience with Amazon FBA and marketplace repricing tools is strongly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience managing eBay marketplace platforms.
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing channels and tactics, including SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media.
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms, with Shopify highly preferred (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce or similar).
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
  • Experience using customer management tools such as Gorgias and Bloomreach.
  • Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and best practices for e-commerce websites and customer experience.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across global teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in retail, consumer-focused, product-led or automotive-related industries would be advantageous.
