Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, knowledge, and experience:

→Experience in local journalism or business-to-business journalism
→Proven writing, research, and editing skills
→Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
→Excellent, accurate writing across a range of formats
→Experience developing and shaping stories from concept to publication
→Ability to identify new angles and innovative ways to cover topics and issues
→Knowledge of relevant data sources, industry developments, and key contacts
→Enthusiasm, energy, and a collaborative mindset
→Strong initiative and the ability to perform well in a fast-paced newsroom environment

An established network of general insurance industry contacts
Knowledge and experience of using SEO to grow and engage readership
