Technology Lead - Front End Developer

Infosys is seeking a Front End Developer. This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition and Design; play an important role in creating the high level design artifacts; deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition and warranty. Required Qualifications :

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Mississauga, Ontario/Calgary, Alberta or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.

Preferred Qualification :
 

• A minimum of 6 years of front-end development experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Angular-based web application development.
• Deep expertise in Angular 11 or above, including components, directives, services, routing, forms, dependency injection, reusable modules, and application architecture.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, including modern language features, semantic markup, and maintainable styling practices.
• Solid understanding of RxJS, observables, asynchronous programming, and state management in Angular applications.
• Experience building responsive, accessible, cross-browser-compatible user interfaces for desktop and mobile devices.
• Hands-on experience integrating Angular applications with REST APIs and handling authentication, authorization, error handling, and client-side validation.
• Experience with front-end testing and debugging using tools and frameworks such as Jasmine, Karma, Jest, or Cypress.
• Experience with Git, code reviews, secure coding practices, and CI/CD pipelines; exposure to containerization and cloud platforms is an advantage.
• Excellent problem-solving, debugging, communication, and collaboration skills within cross-functional Agile teams.
• A passion for delivering user-centric, scalable, and high-quality web applications.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, or face to face. Extensive travel may be required as per client and project needs.

Estimated annual compensation range for the candidate based in the below location will be:
Ontario:  $ 92740 to $ 123375
