Are you passionate about animal care and looking for an opportunity to grow your career in veterinary medicine?

Veterinary Wellness Center of New Haven is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and hardworking Veterinary Technician Assistant to join our team in downtown New Haven, just steps from Yale University's campus!

As a Veterinary Technician Assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting our veterinarians and veterinary technicians, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care, and helping keep our hospital running smoothly.

Whether you have previous experience in a veterinary clinic or are looking to continue building your hands-on animal care skills, we're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys working with animals, and takes pride in being part of a collaborative team.
Veterinary Wellness Center of New Haven is a full-service small animal hospital providing preventive, medical, surgical, and dental care to pets throughout New Haven, Hamden, West Haven, East Haven, North Haven, and surrounding communities.

Our practice offers a variety of veterinary services supported by modern diagnostic technology, including in-house IDEXX laboratory equipment, digital diagnostics, and pharmacy services.

We believe exceptional veterinary care starts with a supportive, compassionate team. Our goal is to create an environment where every team member feels valued, contributes to patient care, and has opportunities to learn and grow.
We are seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistant to provide hands-on support to our veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and patients throughout the day.

This role focuses on animal handling and restraint, preparing exam and treatment areas, maintaining hospital cleanliness, assisting with patient care, and supporting daily veterinary operations.

The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, comfortable working with animals, and willing to jump in wherever the team needs support.
