About the Role

~3 min read

For our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) and InfoSec department, we're looking for a Business Process Specialist who genuinely cares about Governance - someone who sees documented policies and procedures not as shelf documents, but as the operating system of a well-run organisation.

You'll report to the Head of Governance in the Governance team and together with the GRC department support all aspects of the Inpay business ensuring that our documented processes stay current, compliant, and useful as regulatory requirements change.

You will also use and champion AI tools applying AI governance in a fast paced organisation to make GRC work faster and smarter.

  • Own the full review cycle for policies and procedures ensuring documentation is compliant & reflects actual operations.
  • Lead and support process optimization projects, audits, and compliance initiatives—including requirements gathering, analysis, testing, and validation.
  • Perform quality assurance and compliance assessments of documented business processes, procedures & products.
  • Facilitate end-to-end design and periodic refresh of processes so they are efficient and aligned with Inpay policies.
  • Recommending areas for improvement to enhance performance, scalability, and stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Acting as a liaison person between GRC and the rest of the business
  • Optimized document review cycles, with improved efficiency and audit readiness.
  • Process documentation is accurate, relevant, accessible, and actively used.
  • New regulatory or strategic requirements are implemented and actionable.
  • AI-assisted workflows deliver measurable time savings in GRC operations.
  • Stakeholders across the business see GRC as partners and enablers.
  • 3+ years in business process mapping, quality assurance, or GRC -  preferably within a regulated financial services environment (payments, banking, or e-money).
  • A solid grounding in corporate governance principles -  you understand how accountability, transparency, and decision-making authority flow through an organisation, and how governance structures enable rather than obstruct good decisions.
  • Working knowledge of the EU regulatory landscape for payment service providers: DORA (including hands-on implementation experience), EU AI Act, PSD2, AML, the Danish Payments Act, and relevant EBA guidelines. You can translate regulatory language into clear business guidance and push back constructively when needed.
  • Openness to adopting AI tools in GRC work — comfort using, tools that support document drafting, gap analysis, process mapping, or compliance review, with an awareness of how AI governance obligations (including the EU AI Act) affect the tools and processes we work with.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Fluent in English; Danish is a plus but not required.
  • ISO 9001 and ISO 42001 / QMS frameworks
  • Process mining or BPM tools
  • Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP project management experience
  • Risk management frameworks (ISO 31000, COSO)
  • Board or committee secretariat support
Who you are

Structured and detail-oriented, but you don't hide behind process for its own sake — you care about outcomes. You're comfortable working across levels, from specialists to senior management, and you bring genuine curiosity about how things can be done better. You know that good governance is built through collaboration, not mandates. You’re a collaborative team player who values diversity, with a positive and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
