Instrumentum is a national sterile processing partner that helps hospitals and surgery centers run efficient, compliant, and safe instrument reprocessing operations, so our partners can focus on delivering exceptional care.
Sterile processing is where patient safety starts. Every tray that leaves the department is clean, complete, and ready for the surgeon, and the people who make that happen are the reason an operating room runs on time. We bring precision, consistency, and accountability to work that happens out of sight and matters in every case.
We invest in the people who do this work. You'll get structured training, leadership development, and support toward technical certifications, with clear standards and a team that treats your expertise as essential. In Richmond, you'd join at the start and help build it.
If you take pride in getting it right every time, we'd like to hear from you.
Instrumentum is hiring Sterile Processing Technicians II for a new site we're standing up at a partner hospital in the Richmond, VA area. $30–$40/hour, depending on experience. 9 openings across day, evening, and night shifts.
New sites don't open often. Joining one early means more say in how the department runs than you'd typically get on an established team: how trays move through the day, what the schedule looks like when things get busy, who gets asked first when something needs fixing. If you want responsibility sooner rather than later, this is where you'd get it.
This Technician II role builds on core decontamination, assembly, and sterilization skills to take on quality inspection, documentation, and instrument-tracking work, and includes mentoring newer Technicians on the team. Single site, no travel.

● Standing for most of the shift; limited sitting
