Manufacturing Equipment Technician (MTE) - Front End Nights Shift - Shift 4

As a Module Equipment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of advanced manufacturing equipment used in semiconductor production. You will perform hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration of electromechanical systems while supporting experiments and equipment modifications that drive cutting-edge advancements. • →Perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting to diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment.
• →Execute setup, calibration, corrective and preventative maintenance on production equipment, including wet chemistry, plating, and dry high-vacuum toolsets.
• →Monitor tool performance and analyze data to identify and address equipment-related issues.
• →Collaborate with engineering and support teams to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
• →Document maintenance activities, repair findings, and parts usage using established systems and procedures.
• →Lead or contribute to continuous improvement projects, focusing on equipment optimization and yield enhancements.
• →Support cleanroom operations while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining full cleanroom attire.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams and peers.

• Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) with 2+ years of experience.
  • Associate degree in a technical field and 5+ years of experience in equipment maintenance or a related discipline.
  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 4+ years Field Service Engineer (2) level semiconductor maintenance experience
  • HS/GED or higher non-semi degree AND 6+ years related hands on experience including military technical experience

• This position requires:
  • Lift 25-pound parts 1-2 times per shift (on average)
  • Climb and perform work on ladders 1-3 times per shift (on average)
  • Standing and walking for up to 80% of the workday.

• 1+ years of experience in troubleshooting, installation, repair, and operation of electromechanical equipment used in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Proficiency with wet chemistry, plating, and/or dry high-vacuum equipment in a manufacturing or research environment.
• Experience using electrical/mechanical measuring devices such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, calipers, and micrometers.
• Capability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Familiarity with tools like torque wrenches and standard hand tools for equipment repair.
