We are seeking a Database and Data Loader Support Engineer to provide Level 2 technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for database systems and data loader processes as part of Database, Data Analytics and Process Control (AO DAP) L2 team. This role focuses on ensuring smooth data operations, resolving technical issues, and supporting end-users with database and data integration challenges in an automated manufacturing environment.

• Highly flexible, results-oriented mindset with customer-first approach and ability to work in fast-paced, mission-critical Level 2 support environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities with excellent project management, verbal, and written communication skills
• Ability to resolve complex technical issues in high-pressure environments
• Ability to follow procedures and work in a 24x7 support environment with previous support or operations experience

Shift 7 – 12-hour Days: Thursday through Saturday and every other Wednesday

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork, classes, research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related STEM fields. 

• 6+ months of experience with scripting and related activities (SQL, Python, or PowerShell, etc.) 

• 6+ months of experience in current IT technologies (Windows Server, ServiceNow, ITIL, iCloud, or VMWare, etc.) 

• 1+ years of experience with relational database technologies and database engineering or database administration support 

• 1+ years of experience with automated monitoring and alerting systems. 

• Proficiency in SQL query writing and optimization 

• Experience with major database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL database administration) 

• Understanding of database concepts (tables, indexes, views, or stored procedures) 

• Knowledge of database backup and recovery procedures 

• Familiarity with database monitoring tools and performance metrics 

• Understanding of Agile frameworks and ITIL/incident management processes
