Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer

The Role and Impact As a Semiconductor Manufacturing Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Intel's fabrication facilities through every stage of the product lifecycle. You will ensure the successful development and ramp of high-volume or technology development manufacturing processes by optimizing operations, driving continuous improvements, and resolving complex technical challenges. Your contributions will directly impact factory performance, enabling Intel's ability to innovate and achieve production excellence. Key Responsibilities -Define and implement decision-support tools, methodologies, and operational standards for sequences and processes. -Establish manufacturing requirements, assess technologies, and develop plans and supply chains to enable production. -Analyze current processes to identify improvement opportunities, correct deviations, and enhance efficiency. -Inspect machinery and tools, verify efficiency, and initiate corrective actions for deficiencies. -Analyze factory metrics, identify system enhancements, and drive implementation roadmaps. -Develop and troubleshoot factory reporting systems; collaborate with automation teams to build business systems for performance monitoring. -Partner with operations management, engineering, and automation stakeholders to align strategies with operational goals. -Assist Manufacturing Operations Managers in achieving output targets and resolving operational challenges. -Create and distribute manufacturing documentation for product design, configuration, and build requirements. -Define and drive automation systems and station controller capabilities aligned with product roadmaps.

Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or engineering field, such as Industrial Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Industrial Management, with 0-1 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing gained through internships, academic projects, coursework, or hands-on training. - Demonstrated knowledge of structural problem-solving methods and data-driven decision-making. - Proficiency in analyzing factory metrics and workflows to identify improvement opportunities. - Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments is a plus. - Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and resolve issues constructively. - Passion for working with teams to drive operational improvements and achieve production goals. - Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and efficiency.
