At Intel New Mexico, the Wafer Packaging Manufacturing (WPM) Singulation organization plays a critical role in semiconductor wafer processing, testing, and die to wafer assembly.

Responsibilities

Candidates must be willing and able to:

    Work a compressed schedule of three consecutive 12-hour shifts, followed by alternating 4-day workweeks

  • Shift 5: AM/PM Sun–Tues + alternating Wednesdays

  • Shift 7: AM/PM Thurs–Sat + alternating Wednesdays

  • Shift 4: PM–AM Sun–Tues + alternating Saturdays

  • Shift 6: PM–AM Wed–Fri + alternating Saturdays

  • Perform work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE, including coveralls, hood, booties, safety glasses, gloves, and respirator (when required).

  • Lift up to 25 lbs up to five times per day.

  • Spend the majority of the shift (over 90 percent, excluding breaks) in a cleanroom environment.

  • Walk approximately 2-4 miles per shift and stand or sit for extended periods (up to 9 hours).

  • Climb ladders as required by the role.

  • Work in proximity to chemicals while following all safety procedures.

  • Strong safety mindset and commitment to following all safety protocols.

  • Demonstrated ability to follow documented procedures and work with minimal supervision in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under dynamic conditions.

  • Experience working in a team based environment.

  • Self starter with a continuous learning mindset.

  • Ability to multitask across multiple tools and responsibilities concurrently.

  • High attention to detail, sound judgment, and initiative in resolving non standard equipment and process issues.

  • Ability to develop clear, data driven recommendations.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with peers, engineers, and internal customers.

  • Basic computer literacy, including use of email, web based systems, and common productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
