Business Analyst

General Overview: We are currently partnering with a leading organization in the insurance sector to hire a Business Analyst to join their team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of software engineering and enterprise IT systems, who is passionate about driving digital transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements, support system development, and ensure the successful delivery of digital projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements Translate business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams Support the software development lifecycle by providing clarifications, reviewing deliverables, and troubleshooting issues Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and progress reports Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful project execution Analyze business processes, operations, and customer needs to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency Perform system and data analysis to ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with performance standards Create test plans, test cases, and support user acceptance testing (UAT) Assist in the design, development, and implementation of digital systems and solutions Conduct gap analysis, including integration requirements such as APIs Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders Maintain knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices Provide training and support to internal teams on newly implemented systems Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Proven experience as a Business Analyst within digital or technology-driven environments Strong understanding of software engineering principles and enterprise IT systems Experience in requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis tools Knowledge of process mapping techniques, including flow diagrams and data models Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant analytical tools Prior experience within the insurance or financial services sector is highly preferred Experience in project management or digital transformation initiatives is an advantage
