Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Developing and executing Interac's multi-year enterprise compliance strategy and roadmap.
- →Monitoring regulatory developments, emerging risks, and industry trends to ensure the compliance program remains effective and future-focused.
- →Advising executive leadership and the Board on compliance program effectiveness, risks, priorities, and strategic direction.
- Leading the development and maintenance of enterprise compliance policies, standards, frameworks, and governance structures.
- Supporting and advancing Interac's Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) program to strengthen consistency and accountability across the organization.
- Ensuring regulatory requirements are effectively integrated into business operations and decision-making.
- Providing independent oversight, challenge, and guidance on regulatory and compliance risks.
- Leading enterprise compliance assessments, gap analyses, and remediation initiatives.
- Partnering with Legal, Privacy, Information Security, Internal Audit, Human Resources, and business leaders to strengthen risk management and compliance practices.
- Building, mentoring, and developing a high-performing compliance team.
- Driving enterprise-wide compliance awareness, education, and culture initiatives.
- Ensuring the compliance function maintains the capability and capacity required to meet evolving regulatory expectations.
- Developing and delivering executive and Board-level reporting on compliance risks, program maturity, and strategic initiatives.
- Leveraging metrics, analytics, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators to support decision-making and organizational transparency.
