IOM Morocco implements several programmes aimed at strengthening the protection of migrants in vulnerable situations, promoting alternatives to irregular migration, and supporting sustainable reintegration through assistance, awareness-raising, communication, and social cohesion activities.
Within this framework, the project "Providing Protection Solutions and Alternatives to Irregular Migration for Vulnerable Populations in Morocco", funded by the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Austria, supports Assisted Voluntary Return and Reintegration (AVRR) activities and the development of multilingual communication and information tools to improve migrants' access to reliable information and enhance the visibility of programme achievements.
Under the overall supervision of the Media and Communications Unit (MCU), the consultant will provide technical support for the production of communication, awareness-raising, digital, audiovisual, and visibility materials, while contributing to the documentation and promotion of programme activities implemented with institutional and civil society partners.

Requirements
~1 min read- University degree in Communications, Journalism, Media, Audiovisual Production, Public Relations, or a related field from an accredited academic institution.
- Demonstrated professional experience in institutional communication, journalism, media, audiovisual production, digital communication or related fields.
- Proven experience in producing communication materials, including storytelling, videos, podcasts, social media content, institutional publications and other multimedia products.
- Experience in developing awareness-raising and information materials for different target audiences.
- Experience working with international organizations, NGOs or projects related to migration, protection, humanitarian assistance or development is an advantage.
- Experience working in multicultural environments and coordinating with multiple stakeholders is desirable.
- Excellent writing, editing and content adaptation skills for different audiences and communication platforms.
- Strong knowledge of digital communication, social media management and institutional communication.
- Proficiency in graphic design and video editing software, with the ability to produce high-quality visual and audiovisual communication materials.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational, coordination and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Good knowledge of IOM branding, visibility and editorial standards is an asset.
For this consultancy, fluency in French, English and Arabic (oral and written) is required.
Proficiency of language(s) required will be specifically evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

Responsibilities
~2 min readIOM covers Consultants against occupational accidents and illnesses under the Compensation Plan (CP), free of charge, for the duration of the consultancy. IOM does not provide evacuation or medical insurance for reasons related to non-occupational accidents and illnesses. Consultants are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational accident or illness and will be required to provide written proof of such coverage before commencing work.
