The Substitute Teacher is responsible for providing instructional support and classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher. This role ensures continuity of education and fosters a positive learning environment for students.

• → Implement lesson plans provided by the regular teacher.
• → Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behavior.
• → Engage students in learning activities and ensure their safety.
• → Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
• → Reporting child safeguarding and any significant behavioral concerns to the divisional Assistant Principal or Principal.
• → Provide feedback to the regular teacher regarding student performance and classroom events.
• → Cover supervision slots as needed (break times).

• College or University degree: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred; teaching certification is a plus.
• Previous teaching or classroom experience is desirable.
• Strong English communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to various classroom settings and student needs.

• This position may require flexibility in working with various age groups and subject matters.

• Substitute Teacher may work in a variety of classroom settings across different grades.

Note that we are able to utilize substitutes who are on an S1 visa only (dependent visa). If you are on a Z (work) visa you must have permission from your sponsor to work elsewhere.
