Data Engineer - Assistant Manager

• →Maintain and enhance the Azure Data warehouse.
• →Develop and maintain ETL processes, data mappings & transformations.
• →Ensure data integrity, quality, privacy, and security, in line with client and regulatory requirements.
• →Optimise data solutions for performance and scalability.
• →Adhere to Interpath’s software engineering best practices.
• →Act as a point of contact for business data developing subject matter expertise

• 4+  years’ experience in a data engineering role.
• Hands on experience with Databricks notebooks and Azure Synapse pipelines.
• Strong SQL experience (including views and stored procedures).
• Experience of working with APIs to integrate data flows between disparate cloud systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• The aptitude to quickly understand information, business models and requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to establish working relationships.

• Experience following CI/CD protocols through Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Expertise in Business Intelligence, ideally via Power BI for data visualisation and reporting.
• Awareness of regulated environments, including data legislation and cyber security accreditations (e.g., GDPR, ISO27001, Cyber Essentials).
• Experience of working in a financial services firm.
