NDT Level II Inspector

As a Level II NDT Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections — primarily radiographic, but also visual or other relevant methods — with a strong focus on detecting and assessing corrosion under insulation (CUI). The role requires technical knowledge, procedural discipline, and a commitment to safety and quality.

• →Perform inspections using OpenVision RTR and other NDT methods as applicable
• →Conduct CUI evaluations and apply understanding of materials and corrosion mechanisms
• →Follow defined testing procedures and relevant standards to ensure consistent, high-quality results
• →Interpret inspection data and provide clear, well-documented reports
• →Communicate findings effectively with engineers, supervisors, and clients
• →Ensure proper calibration, handling, and maintenance of equipment
• →Mentor and oversee NDT Level I personnel during field operations
• →Comply with all radiation safety procedures, including boundary control and exposure tracking
• →Carry out inspections in high-risk areas in accordance with safety protocols

• Valid Level II certification in accordance with EN ISO 9712 (NORDTEST) or PCN — preferably RT2 or VT2
• Valid Norwegian Radiation Protection or UK Radiation Protection Supervisor (RPS) certification
• Proficiency in both Norwegian and English, spoken and written

• NS 415 certification
• IRATA Rope Access certification
• Experience working in a process plant or similar industrial environment
• Additional NDT methods or qualifications will be considered
