Lab Technician

Turn Accurate Laboratory Analysis into Consistent Product Quality

• Properly split and prepare plant and loadout samples for analysis using X-ray diffraction (XRD), Camsizer, flame photometry, and other laboratory methods.
• Perform sample preparation and testing, including drying, particle-size analysis, XRD, insolubles analysis, and other required procedures.
• Accurately enter, analyze, and report test results in electronic systems to support product quality and plant operations.
• Verify the proper function of laboratory instruments through routine testing, calibration checks, cleaning, and maintenance.

• →Strong attention to detail, sound critical-thinking skills, and the ability to accurately follow laboratory procedures and document results.
• →Ability to frequently walk and stand and perform work involving sitting, talking, hearing, visual inspection, color differentiation, precise hand and finger movements, twisting, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and grasping.
• →Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds; climb stairs and ladders; potentially work at heights; wear required PPE; and perform strenuous physical activity.
• →High school diploma or GED; trade or technical education, or some college coursework, is preferred.
• →Valid driver's license.
