Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Assist the Preconstruction Team with organizing bid invitations, drawing sets, and project documentation.
- →Support the solicitation and qualification of subcontractors and vendors.
- →Help prepare and distribute bid packages, track responses, and compile comparison spreadsheets.
- →Review plans and specifications to assist in quantity takeoffs and cost estimating.
- →Coordinate preconstruction meetings and document meeting notes for team distribution.
- →Assist in assembling budgets, schedules, and proposals for upcoming projects.
- →Maintain accurate records of bids, proposals, and contract documentation.
- →Participate in learning opportunities across departments to gain a full understanding of the development process from concept through construction.
Requirements
~1 min read- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in multi-family and mixed-use development projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); familiarity with Bluebeam or Procore is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Analytical mindset and eagerness to learn the technical and financial aspects of construction.
- Availability to work up to 20 hours per week during the semester and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
