Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute monthly payroll processing for all Greek-based employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Greek labour law, tax regulations, and social security requirements.
  • Liaise with external partners (e.g. labour lawyer) to ensure full legal compliance.
  • Prepare payroll reports and support finance reconciliation in collaboration with the CFO.
  • Manage ERGANI II and provide guidance to employees and contractors on payroll, local labour rules, policies.
  • Draft, review, and manage employment contracts, amendments, and terminations.
  • Prepare and manage contractor agreements, ensuring compliance with tax/VAT regulations.
  • Act as a point of contact for contractors regarding VAT, withholding taxes, and invoicing requirements.
  • Own and manage the leave of absence system/tool, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop, update, and communicate leave policies in line with company needs and legal requirements.
  • Support broader HR policy updates and documentation where required.

  • Draft bonus policies and coordinate roll-out in collaboration with the CFO and HR Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in payroll and HR administration, ideally within a fast-paced or IT environment or in a consulting firm.
  • Strong knowledge of Greek labour law, payroll practices, and tax/VAT regulations.
  • Hands-on experience with payroll systems and HRIS tools, specifically experience with Epsilon Net Pylon HRMS, ERGANI and time and attendance tools.
  • Experience managing contractor agreements and invoicing is highly desirable.
