Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Own employee onboarding and offboarding with HR, coordinating accounts, access, and equipment with remote employees across time zones
- →Serve as the escalation point and day-to-day contact for our MSP, holding them accountable to agreed service levels
- →Administer Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune, and other business systems; including access control, MFA, SSO
- →Management of Windows and macOS end-user devices, as well as shared technology resources and networks
- →Procure, deploy, inventory, and retire hardware, and manage warranty repairs
- →Monitor security alerts and apply best practices to protect client and company data
- →Complete recurring compliance work such as partner and client security assessments, audit evidence, and incident response testing, and keep IT policies and documentation current
- →Identify opportunities for improvement and work with team to standardize and improve IT processes
- →Manage licenses, subscriptions, and IT spend, and research new tools and vendors
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience
- At least 3 years of IT administration experience, ideally supporting a distributed workforce
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and Intune
- Proficiency supporting both Windows and macOS users
- Working knowledge of networking and security fundamentals (e.g., DNS, VPNs, firewalls, MFA, SSO)
- Experience working with MSPs and other IT vendors
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to work across time zones
- Microsoft certifications, Azure or AWS experience, or PowerShell scripting are a plus
- Ability to lift IT equipment up to 50 pounds and support occasional after-hours or weekend work
