Associate Technical Specialist - Sample Management

IQVIA Discovery Sciences in Cambridge is seeking an Associate Technical Specialist to support our Sample Management team, helping to deliver critical laboratory operations that accelerate research programmes.

• →Operate and maintain automated laboratory platforms, including Echo, Tecan, Janus, Beckman, HighRes, Mosquito, SmartCell and Hamilton Tube Store systems.
• →Support liquid handling protocol development and routine sample management activities.
• →Complete SAP transactions and laboratory documentation accurately and on time.
• →Troubleshoot technical issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• →Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with quality standards.

• BSc in a scientific discipline.
• Laboratory experience gained through academia or industry.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and data handling skills.
• Good IT literacy and interest in automation technologies.
• Experience within Pharma, Biotech or CRO environments and knowledge of liquid handling automation would be advantageous.
