- Lead qualitative market research and competitive intelligence projects end to end for pharmaceutical clients across the DACH region
- Translate client business questions into appropriate research approaches and structured project plans
- Conduct primary research, including interviews with physicians and other healthcare professionals in German and, where appropriate, French
- Complement primary research with targeted secondary research and desk analysis where required
- Analyze and synthesize market, competitor, and stakeholder evidence to identify relevant insights, opportunities, and risks
- Translate complex findings into clear, actionable commercial recommendations and compelling client storylines
- Prepare high-quality reports and presentations and deliver results to client stakeholders
- Own project timelines, deliverables, and day-to-day client interactions across the full project lifecycle
- Manage several projects in parallel while collaborating effectively with colleagues across teams and disciplines
- Contribute to the continuous development of research approaches, client solutions, and team capabilities
Requirements
~1 min read- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, ideally in life sciences or a related field
- 2–5 years of relevant professional experience in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare consulting, market research, competitive intelligence, or a related field
- Business-fluent German and English are required; conversational French is considered an asset
- Knowledge and understanding of the Swiss pharmaceutical market
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex evidence into business-relevant insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a confident and client-oriented approach
- Effective project and time management skills, including the ability to prioritize and deliver high-quality work across parallel engagements
- Structured and independent way of working, combined with a collaborative mindset and willingness to contribute across the organization
The role reports to the Team Lead Qualitative Insights within the Primary Market Research Team of the Swiss Analytics & Advisory Services Team.
