Main lesson by the Mediterranean? Yes, really.

Picture this: the morning verse, a freshly painted blackboard drawing, a class that can’t wait to hear how yesterday’s story ends. Then a walk home under 300 days of sunshine a year, with lemon trees, mountains and the sea all close by.

The Island Private School of Limassol is looking for Waldorf teachers to join our growing Waldorf programme in pre-primary, primary and secondary up to Grade 9.

What makes us a bit unusual
We’re one of very few schools anywhere where Waldorf, Montessori and the IB live side by side on the same campus. We don’t water the three down into one. Each approach keeps its own heart, and we’re curious about what they can learn from each other. If you like the idea of rhythm, wonder and childhood-paced learning holding their own in a lively international community, you’ll feel at home here.

Who we’re hoping to meet

• Kindergarten and class teachers with Waldorf/Steiner training, or well on the way to it
• People who understand that a good lesson starts with the head, the heart and the hands
• Storytellers, painters, singers, gardeners, knitters and festival-makers
• Colleagues who are warm, steady and grown-up about working inside a larger school with its own structures
• Fluent English speakers (the school’s working language)
