ASTORIA GRANDE - CHIEF PURSER - СТАРШИЙ КАЗНАЧЕЙ

The Chief Purser directs the Accounting Operation onboard to ensure company, divisional and ship performance objectives set forth by the company are met and/or exceeded by performing the following essential duties and responsibilities personally or through department heads.

• Season starts in March and lasts till mid January
• Single Cabin
• Free meals and accommodation
• The tickets at the expense of the employer
• The contract can be for full season or on rotation
• The salary is paid in euros + commissions

• Age 21+
• Recruitment is conducted from the following countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan.
• Fluency in Russian is mandatory for this position
• Knowledge of English is required both written and spoken
• A full package of STCW certificates and a seafarer's passport/seafarer's identity card and Seaman's Book are required (we can help to obtain)
• Degree in hospitality management, business administration or related field from an accredited college or university or the international equivalent, preferred.
• Ship experience is mandatory preferably with progressive management experience on cruise ship of which three years as Crew Purser, three years as Front Office Manager and three or more years as Guest Relations Manager / Chief Purser.
• Strong communication, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong management skills in a multicultural and dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Superior customer service, team building and conflict resolution skills.
• Knowledge of the principles and processes involved in business and organizational planning, coordination and execution. This includes strategic planning, resource allocation, workforce planning and management, leadership techniques and production methods.
