DIDO Utility

We're seeking DIDO Utility All Rounders from Central Queensland for roles at remote mining village sites across regional Queensland. Candidates must have reliable transport and be able to drive themselves to and from site. Roster options include 14:7 and selected 5:2 opportunities.                                                                     

As a Housekeeping or Cleaning Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

• Cleaning resident rooms, bathrooms and communal areas
• Replenishing resident room supplies and amenities
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting and polishing
• Waste removal and general cleaning duties
• Floor maintenance, including stripping and sealing
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the village                                                       

As a Food & Beverage or Catering Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing quality food and beverage service
• Assisting with food service and dining room operations
• Maintaining cleaning schedules and hygiene standards
• General kitchen hand duties
• General bar duties where required
• Accurate cash handling in line with company procedures
• Restocking food stations, drink dispensers, crockery, cutlery and consumables
• Keeping dining and service areas clean, organised and well-presented                                 

• Current Australian Drivers Licence & your own reliable transport
• Ability to commute from your home to our site in regional Queensland.
• An RTO recognised Food Safety Certificate SITXFSA006 - Participate in safe food handling practices
• Previous hospitality and/or cleaning experience and ability to work in a team.

Police Clearance (within last 12 months) or willing to obtain one

Ability to pass QLD Coal Board Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screen.

• Previous experience in a FIFO Housekeeping, Tavern, Dining and/or Catering will be highly regarded.
• Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate essential for all Tavern/Retail roles.
