We're looking for a tech-savvy and proactive Administration Coordinator to join our Aviation team at Melbourne Airport. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong administration experience and exposure to rostering who enjoys working with people, systems, and processes.
About the Role
~1 min readReporting to the Operations Manager, you'll provide administrative and rostering support across a busy operational environment, including workforce scheduling, employee records, compliance, and onboarding activities.
We're looking for someone who is proactive, tech-savvy, and eager to learn, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a career in the aviation industry and gain exposure to airport operations.
This is a part-time opportunity (30 hours per week), working predominantly 1:00pm to 6:00pm, providing overlap for operational handovers and team support.
✅ Previous administration or coordination experience
✅ Understanding of rostering or workforce scheduling
✅ Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems quickly
✅ Excellent organisational and time management skills
✅ A high level of attention to detail and accuracy
✅ Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
✅ Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
✅ Professionalism when handling confidential information
✅ Ability to work under pressure
- Experience using UKG or similar workforce management systems
