Contract type: Fixed Term Contract
Duration: 6 months
Job Purpose: The purpose of this pivotal role is to support the procurement and sourcing activities for our growing Procurement Services Offshore sector. Primarily focused on the Asia Pacific region but supporting the global business, the role includes supporting and implementing the Procurement Services strategy for the region, executing operational purchasing activities, ensuring on time deliveries and maintaining a compliant vendor network.
Key Accountabilities :
- Source and manage operational procurement -provisions, consumables, spares, equipment and services to support the offshore sector in the region and beyond where required
- Work closely with Offshore, Logistics teams, Head of Procurement Services and APAC team, to support and implement the Procurement Services strategy.
- Evaluate commercial quotes / bids
- Negotiate and ensure competitive vendor rates and a compliant and fit for purpose vendors network.
- Issuance of purchase order and liaison of delivery to meet project timelines.
- Assist to manage and mitigate risk assessment for both supplier base and procurement supply chain.
- Maintain and update approved vendor records.
- Assist in invoices checking / Goods receipt & administrative duties.
- Prepare procurement reports and analysis for management review.
- Ensure assigned objectives and KPI’s are achieved, and a consistently high level of service is delivered to internal stakeholders and Inchcape customers.
- Ensure procurement compliance throughout the organisation and global supply chain.
- Ensure consistent and effective supply chain risk management across the region, including logging and resolving vendor issues, service failures, etc.
- Liaise with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Educate vendors on the Inchcape business and the Company’s requirements, policies and terms and conditions.
- Provide stakeholders with relevant vendor pricing information for global and local commercial tenders.
- Any other duties as required by the Chief Procurement Officer or Regional CEO.

QHSSE – Health, Safety, Security and Environment (Mandatory requirements)
- Championing appropriate health, safety, security and environment (HSSE) risk assessments becomes part of the company culture.
- Accountable for the implementation and monitoring of actions that mitigate risk and enhance controls/processes, to ensure that QHSSE of all Inchcape Stakeholders are known and staff/suppliers/crew feel empowered and accountable for their own safety.
- Ensure full compliance with, and implementation of, the Inchcape QHSSE Management System
- Ensure that appropriate resources are allocated to control QHSSE risk
- Accountable for ensuring that clear, appropriate and timely communication channels are put in place to report and manage QHSSE risk
