Responsibilities

- →Set up and maintain iPads and other technology, including installing and updating applications.
- →Develop familiarity with a variety of AAC applications and systems and assist others in learning to use these tools.
- →Provide basic technology support to students and others using the AAC lab.
- →Collaborate, as appropriate, with occupational therapy students and other students working in the lab.
- →Assist with research activities related to AAC and assistive technology.
- →Support lab outreach, demonstrations, and educational activities.
- →Help maintain an organized, accessible, and functional lab environment.
The ideal candidate is an SLP undergraduate student who is dependable, curious about technology, interested in AAC, comfortable learning new software and devices, and planning to pursue graduate study in speech-language pathology. Prior experience with AAC is helpful but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential.
