Job Title: Work Study Student – West Village Community Drop-In

Responsibilities

→PLAY with children. Care for them. Be patient, and guide them during the day.
→Support supervision of children ages 18 months to 5 years in a play-based, drop-in setting
→Assist in setting up and cleaning up daily activities, materials, and space
→Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as reading, art, sensory play, and outdoor play
→Welcome families and help create a warm, inclusive environment
→Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure children's safety and well-being
→Follow all safety, health, and program guidelines

→Assist in creating a weekly menu
→Setting the table
→Assist in preparing and serving breakfast
→Assist in preparing and serving lunch
→Kitchen cleanup
→Follow all program food safety, sanitation, health, and allergy guidelines
