Job Title: Work Study Student – West Village Community Drop-In

Responsibilities

  • PLAY with children. Care for them. Be patient, and guide them during the day.
  • Support supervision of children ages 18 months to 5 years in a play-based, drop-in setting
  • Assist in setting up and cleaning up daily activities, materials, and space
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities such as reading, art, sensory play, and outdoor play
  • Welcome families and help create a warm, inclusive environment
  • Work collaboratively with staff and volunteers to ensure children's safety and well-being
  • Follow all safety, health, and program guidelines
  • Assist in creating a weekly menu
  • Setting the table
  • Assist in preparing and serving breakfast
  • Assist in preparing and serving lunch
  • Kitchen cleanup
  • Follow all program food safety, sanitation, health, and allergy guidelines
