Marketing and Events Promotion Assistants play a crucial role in promoting MTD events and ensuring effective communication to potential audiences. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can support our marketing and event promotion efforts in a multitude of ways.

Responsibilities

→Film and edit short video interviews for MTD socials
→Create and hang up posters around campus, downtown, and other designated locations to promote events

→Send event listings to community notice boards, using a provided list for distribution

→Submit postings of upcoming events to Intercom

→Create event slides for monitors in Whalen, Dillingham, and other areas on campus

→Take photos and videos during events, edit for posting, conduct interviews with performers and attendees

Requirements

Excellent attention to detail

Strong organizational and communication skills

Basic graphic design skills

Experience shooting and editing photos and videos

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

An ability and willingness to learn

Hiring rate $16.00 hr
